Zach’s Sporty Senior Photos | Newington, CT
Just after Thanksgiving, we welcomed Zach to the studio for some sporty senior photos! Zach is currently a senior at Newington High School not far from where I live, and hopes to enter into a career in sport journalism! He loves all sports, particularly basketball (avid Bulls fan!), hockey, and playing golf in his spare time. He’d love to work an NFL game someday! Zach also has a love for his video games, especially Call of Duty. When we spoke to him and his mom about the type of photos they wanted, it was clear that incorporating sports and video games somehow into his senior photos would be ideal. We borrowed a number of sentimental items from Zach’s room, including a framed Bulls jersey and chair he uses to play video games, and used them in different ways to create a unique and custom senior shoot for him. I normally am not a big photoshop user when it comes to using added effects and backgrounds, but in this case I knew it would add some extra “pop” to his images. Zach wasn’t a huge fan of the camera putting all the attention on him, but after seeing his final gallery he was extremely happy with how his images came out, as were his parents and other family members!
