Holiday Park Photos | West Hartford, CT

Recently we met up with The Minkler Family for holiday park photos and updated family/sibling photos! When Mom told me they hadn’t had them updated since their youngest (18 months) was born, I knew we had make these special! Normally by this point in the year studio photography is my only option due to cold weather (which at a certain point unless it’s snowing, doesn’t go well with young kids!). We’ve had an incredible stretch of warm weather this fall/end of the year! I’ve been lucky enough to do a few holiday photos of families outdoors and it’s early December! We chose Westmoor Park in West Hartford, CT, knowing that with it’s many different looks and textures, the kids would enjoy running around and exploring. *Note: you need permission for use of these grounds. The light was beautiful this late afternoon, and we managed to get a few pictures of Mom with her 4 kids and the kids together while we waited for Dad to arrive. I loved the color of the sun this time of year as it created a warmth to the images that added pop even with no leaves on the trees! Despite only having a short session this time, I loved how these holiday photos came out and I can’t wait to shoot again at this location! Speaking of their Dad, special congratulations to this newly retired Marine and thank you for your service!
