Baby boy James was welcomed to the world as the first son to their family, complete with 2 big sisters and wonderful parents. We are fortunate enough to know this amazing group (and that these sessions will finally make us get together more often) so I was honored when they asked if I would photograph them along this journey. We started over the summer with a maternity/family photo session that allowed them to capture some fun moments together before they became a family of five. They didn’t know if baby #3 was going to be a boy or another girl, so they were overjoyed when a boy entered the mix! James was born at a whopping 11 pounds and 23.5 inches long. And right off the bat, he was alert and ready to check out the world and what all the fuss was about! As you’ll see in some of his photos below, he was perfectly happy checking me out as I tried to pose him. We realized that wrapping was going to be the best way to get some dozing out of him so that’s what I did. As a result we were able to get some really cute prop photos and create an adorable wood cluster and baby announcements for his parents to enjoy. We even used a special horse lovie I had made just for their session and a new “little pumpkin” fall set up too! I can’t wait to see them all one more time this year for Christmas using our custom set this December. The Annual Review plan was the perfect was for them to have 3 sessions in a shorter amount of time and purchase different products from each. I hope you enjoy some of his parent’s chosen favorites!
