I love when clients can return to the studio and I can watch their children grow up! Such is the case with our recent visit with John for his first birthday Mickey Mouse cake smash! We last saw this fun family at Christmas time during our Photos with Santa event in November. In the blink of an eye he is one! Mickey Mouse cake smash themes are always a popular selections for parents, and I try to put together some different layouts for them to choose from. This time, we used an alternate backdrop design along with the red and yellow colors to create a very layered look. I think it looks great, what do you think? John came with two adorable outfits to use for his pre-cake and cake smash portions and once he realized how tasty the cake from Betty’s Cake Creations was, he couldn’t stop eating! He even tried to share some cake with his big brother at the end and it was so sweet! By the end of the session he definitely was on our list for one of the best cake smashers ever! I don’t think there was anything left to save! Our cake smash sessions do book well in advance, so let’s talk about YOUR little one’s first birthday and creating something special. It doesn’t have to be cake either – we can design a theme around another one of their favorite foods!
