Jungle Cake Smash | Marlborough, CT

At the end of 2017 we had a slew of first birthday cake smash sessions, starting with another favorite theme in baby J’s jungle cake smash! This was planned very early by his mom and she asked if we could do something centered around a favorite large stuffed animal sloth that they had taken monthly photos with. I knew a jungle theme would fit very well, and I was so happy with how this custom theme turned out! We met at my Newington, CT photography studio and had an amazing cake smash with him! He wasn’t too sure about me at first, but some blocks and pee-a-boo play quickly won him over! A delicious cake by Betty’s Cake Creations was a huge hit. Baby J loved playing with the wooden spoon I gave him and we captured so many hilarious expressions from him during the cake portion. After cake play was finished, a tub bath to clean off and splash around was so much fun! After his parents reviewed the images and chose their collection, they also chose one of his pre-cake portraits to have professionally framed through my local partnership with Joel Whitney Framing. The final result was absolutely stunning, and I look forward to presenting my clients with more of these options in 2018! Enjoy some of our jungle cake smash with baby J below!
