Colorful Cake Smash | Newington, CT

We have yet another new theme for you to check out with Aiden’s first birthday colorful cake smash! Aiden’s mom called me in November hoping to sneak in for his first birthday during a busy time of year and I’m so glad we were able to find a time that worked for everyone! All of my custom sessions do take some extra time to plan, because I am hand making and purchasing products to make them extra special and unique just for you! So I highly recommend contacting me at least 1-2 months ahead of time, especially if you need a weekend time, to make sure I can get you in the calendar. And although at first glance this is a little bit simpler of a theme, it really came together so nicely for Aiden’s milestone session! His mom chose primary/simple colors for the theme. Aiden was a little unsure about what we were doing at first, but try throwing a HUGE balloon I had leftover from another session in the air and he was ALL smiles! They are some of my favorite photos of the day! Cake time was also a big hit and Aiden loved the frosting delicious-ness by Betty’s Cake Creations! Using the spoon as a tool was also very helpful and he probably would have played and ate all morning if we let him! Afterwards, it was bath time and once he realized how the sponges worked it became a (short) game of throwing them outside the tub! 😉 I hope you enjoy some of these (many) favorites from his colorful cake smash session, and I can’t wait to see the beautiful custom frame and album they are going to enjoy!
