Family and Dog Maternity Photos | Glastonbury, CT

We’ve been fortunate to get to know this family over the years as they have come to our family Christmas sessions in November with their German Shepard. The time had now arrived for a little human to join their beautiful family! It was so exciting for to know that we would be asked to photograph their journey along the way as well. We decided to meet at Wickham Park in South Windsor, CT for their family and dog maternity photos. Of course when it comes to beautiful sessions in the summer time, this is one location that is hard to beat! On a weeknight in June we had the place to ourselves as we strolled through the many garden options. Mom was hoping for more pictures with the roses, so we spent a lot of time in the English Garden. But there are so many options in this park it’s easy to find a location with a beautiful background setting! We even traveled up to the overlook for some pretty sunset shots as well. Of course this photoshoot wouldn’t be complete without plenty of photos with their dog, Caesar! He is always the star of the show but might need to share the spotlight this coming August when a baby sister will arrive. We loved so many of their final photos but here are some of the favorites they chose including one as a beautiful gallery canvas to display in their home.
