Happy Fall Family Photos | Rocky Hill, CT

I always love working at a new location – the creative juices just keep flowing and it’s always even more meaningful to the family when they are familiar with the location as well. This father contacted me in October hoping to book some happy fall family photos during peak foliage. By that time I had completely filled my schedule, but was able to sneak them in on a weeknight. What a spectacular fall foliage season that we had, and I was excited to venture to a  new park location that this father grew up near and was very familiar with. We met in the evening and was so smitten with their 2 smiley sons! Now it did take their 3yo a little bit of time to warm up to the ideas of photos (and new people). This is why we highly recommend working with us at a full session length in order to give them time to realize that we are having fun and without the rush of a shorter length session. After big brother realized this was fun, the rest of the photoshoot was perfect! He especially loved walking on the rock wall and finding the biggest leaves in the park. We had a great time exploring the grounds and everywhere we looked there were beautiful trees in the background! What a lovely time we had a such a beautiful gallery for them to cherish of their family. I hope to see them again as their boys grow! Don’t forget, the best time to reach out to us is about 1-2 months (at least) prior to your desired session date so that we can ensure there is space in the calendar to fit you in.
