Vintage Baseball Cake Smash | Prospect, CT
This theme was a new favorite for me! Nicholas B came to the studio recently with his mom for his first birthday cake smash. Boy am I busy with these session types this spring and summer already! And all boys lately too – where are my girls?! Hahaha, I love my boy sessions! Luckily for Nicholas B, he won me over with his adorable face and smile (and later even his cry!). He reminds me of my brother Dan when he was little with his cute haircut! When his mom and I were planning his cake smash, she sent me over a list of ideas she liked and I immediately loved the baseball idea. But with a twist, we made this into a vintage baseball cake smash theme! Mom was able to find a few adorable outfit pieces on Etsy and with Betty’s Cake Creations helping make me a baseball cake to match, we had a beautiful set! My husband even was able to get some turf samples and I used a strip as grass in the background, which really made some nice color contrast! The peanuts and cracker jacks were hard to find, but I did! I hope you enjoy this session as much as Nicholas B did (you’ll see)!
