Seaside Carnival Cake Smash | Cheshire, CT

This Mom came to me with an idea for a cake smash…it was unique and I was going to really have to get into my creative box to come up with the idea! Although she loved my original carnival theme, she planned his birthday party at home around a beach theme. So – a seaside carnival cake smash theme was in the works! Now planning a theme from scratch takes some time and planning to put together. And because all of my scenes use real props instead of ones that are printed on the background, I can mix and match to create something custom! I utilized some of my regular carnival props, beach props, and made some purchases to really make this seem like a carnival by the sea. And I just love how it came out! This little cutie was flashing up smiles as soon as he arrived, so I knew we would be fast friends. Playing with blocks, shells, and beach balls warmed us up before it was cake time. And what a gorgeous cake by Sweets by Jenna! He loved digging into it and exploring the details they incorporated into my request. Although he wasn’t too sure about bath time, we had so many photos from his other session parts that it didn’t matter – we could just clean up after a few snaps! His photos are going to look beautiful in an heirloom Legacy Box with matted prints and some corresponding digital files. Here are just some of the many favorites!
