What a year of cake smashes it’s been already! We are so happy to be able to celebrate your child’s first birthdays with you in such a unique and special way. Each of our scenes is custom designed from start to finish and we can even mix and match things from other themes to create new themes too! Such was the case for planning our Donut Grow Up cake smash. Mom had a vision and liked a background from another theme I had done, so it was the perfect thing to build something new on! After finding lots of props and having some beautiful banners made by local crafter Party Your World, and of course, a delicious cake from Betty’s Cake Creations & donuts, we were ready! Little miss showed up with the most adorable outfit! It had donuts printed all over it with a little skirt and hat to match. As soon as we put the donuts in front of her, she was SO excited! And who could blame her, with so many choices and colors to choose from! Chocolate was first up (girl after my own heart). Then it was time to try the cake! She liked the frosting, but getting TOO messy wasn’t her favorite thing. So we brought the donuts back in and some tools to use and that helped win her over.
