Curious George Cake Smash | South Windsor, CT
If you’ve been following my work for a while, you know that my custom cake smashes are a staple! Clients come from all over Connecticut, Massachusetts, and even New York to experience my custom themes and set ups. They definitely require some additional work and planning, but I love adding creativity and personality to each child that’s celebrating a milestone. And it doesn’t have to be for only first birthdays either! Devin’s Mom decided on a curious george cake smash theme for me to plan. Although this is an older children’s story/show, a trip to the local consignment store yielded a great pile of various curious george books that were perfect to add to the set. And a matching cake from Betty’s Cake Creations was just what we needed to complete the look. When Devin first arrived he was a little unsure about taking pictures, and would have much rather snuggled with Mom (I don’t blame him!). But after some different techniques, he really enjoyed Betty’s yummy cake and happily played with the wooden spoon until it was bath time. I love that their family is going to have a beautiful heirloom album and canvas to hang in their home.
