It seems like it was just yesterday that little Benjamin was in our studio for his six month photos, and now he’s already back for his first birthday Mickey cake smash?! Time really does fly by when you have a child, which is why it is SO important to capture these milestones! The first birthday is truly a special one, and custom cake smashes are quickly becoming a speciality of mine! Benjamin’s mom has known for a long time that she wanted me to do a classic Mickey Mouse cake smash theme. As many of you know, I like to customize sessions as much as I can, even when doing a popular theme over again for a client. So, for this one, I used a completely different paper color which made the red and yellow colors pop in a much different way! With a matching cake from Betty’s Cake Creations, we were off and running! Benjamin wasn’t feeling up for photos as much this time, but that didn’t mean the session was doomed! He LOVED his cake! So much so, that we had to take it away from him before he made himself sick! He was literally up to his elbows in it as you’ll see below! Check them out!
