Unique Newborn Photography | Newington, CT
This post has many unique newborn photography editing combinations that are new to clients this year! Julia’s mom had contacted me over the winter time about planning for the upcoming spring arrival of her baby girl and wanted to capture the special moment with many varieties of images! My newborn calendar can fill up quickly, especially with a baby boom (which end of April & May was quickly becoming!), so she wanted to make sure to get in the calendar ahead of time. (And I’m so glad that she did, I had to end up turning people away as we got closer to May because of how many babies were booked already!) They decided to book my Annual Review Plan, which is a great option for clients that know they would like more than one milestone captured in one year. So in this case, they used it for a maternity session before baby arrived (a shorter appointment), a full length heirloom newborn session for baby Julia, and then save their remaining short session for her 6 month sit up milestone. Julia arrived about 3 weeks early, and when she came to see me she was still only just about 5lbs! What a peanut! But she was so beautiful and you wouldn’t know by her photos how tiny she was! After some morning food, she slept the morning away! We were able to safely so do many beautiful poses including adding some unique digital backgrounds to her gallery. It’s a great way, when time and baby allows, to photograph to later edit into some special backgrounds that we wouldn’t normally have otherwise. It really gives additional artistic variety and options for parents when they are choosing from their final gallery. I won’t lie saying choosing favorites was difficult! But luckily I have many ways to help my clients cherish their many beautiful images in both digital and print formats that will last forever! I can’t wait to see her photos in a beautiful album they can enjoy again and again along with keepsake digitals to have as well. Which one is your favorite?
