Before we knew it, it was time to plan for baby Jace’s arrival! Shortly after photographing their in-home family maternity session, little Jace made his debut. I had planned with Mom ahead of time and knew that she was hoping for a white and navy blue color scheme along with the possibility of a Harry Potter set up that she had seen me do recently with another client! That set up really got a lot of attention and I was happy to try and work it in to his session with more of a white background this time instead. Jace arrived to my Newington, CT photography studio and I quickly realized that he was probably going through a growth spurt! He really wanted to be with Mom and eating a lot, so it took some time to get him settled and adjusted to what made him happy. But as an experienced newborn photographer, I was able to make that happen! The beginning of the session took some extra time and patience, but after some consistent feedings and snuggles he was off to dreamland. And what adorable poses we managed as a result! Thankfully we were able to make that Harry Potter set up happen for them, which I know is what they were hoping for! In addition to some other unique poses and bed set up that Mom & Dad were really happy about. The great thing about working with my studio is that I am always trying to give clients variety in a beautiful and artistic way that also translates to their purchased products as well! In the end they decided to purchase my unique Legacy Box with matching USB drive of digital files to have both a high quality printed and digital collection of this amazing gallery. I can’t wait to photograph big brother for his own special (and unique) confetti & balloon session in a few more weeks! Don’t forget! We recommend booking in your 2nd trimester if you are expecting to plan for your due date, especially if you are hoping for maternity images as well.
