Carter | Air Force Newborn Photos | Middletown, CT
It is always wonderful seeing clients from the same family and 2019 I saw 3 sets of cousins related on each side within a few months of each other! You might remember Benjamin and Luis who both had just amazing photo shoots with me and now it was Carter’s turn. Mom had a lot of sentimental items that she wanted to incorporate into his photoshoot, and I’m always happy to oblige when I can! His grandfather is an Air Force veteran, and they were hoping to give him something framed for Christmas using his uniform. She also provided a set of plastic dinosaurs from her father, a quilt from a grandmother made of shirts, and they also had some hobbies/likes they wanted to incorporate as well like Nintendo and sharks! So it was a lot of fun planning his newborn photos around all of these special things. I think we did really well making them all work in a beautiful and timeless way. Carter did such a great job sleeping the morning away, although getting to sleep took a little longer at first (he really just needed a snack!). But I was able to take such a cute photo of him awake and looking right at the camera which is rare during my sessions! Mom & Dad just loved how his photos came out and purchased one of our very popular Legacy Boxes to cherish them in. Along with corresponding digital files for a keepsake, they now have a wonderful hybrid way to enjoy images from his newborn photography session.
