In Home Family Portrait | Coventry, CT
Many times during the winter months, I’m asked to do family portraits when everyone is home for the holidays. This is one of my favorite times of year to see everyone together! But, the winter months mean that we need to be inside. And while my studio is great for small families, doing a session at your home means that I can work in a larger space that’s also personal to you! After the holidays I was fortunate to work with the B Family to plan their in home family portrait. The kids all wanted to surprise their mom for Christmas, and they purchased a gift certificate for my studio so they had something special to give her (paper copies also available!). My electronic gift cards are now a GREAT way for family members to assist with the purchase of a professional photography session or towards heirloom products during their design and ordering appointment! We decided to meet in the home of their godparents, who they are all very close to. It was wonderful to not only photograph their immediate family but add in their godparents for some special photos together. We photographed a lot of different groupings and in different areas of their home. Below are some of their favorite images that they chose, and many of them we also printed and framed for both families. Working with a custom framer means that I can customize all of my pieces locally, and the consistency and high quality of each piece has been amazing! I was so glad to meet this beautiful family and provide an in home family portrait they can display for years to come. So don’t worry if the weather doesn’t always cooperate – I can bring my studio to you!
