Super Mario Cake Smash | Rockfall, CT

Cake Smash themes are so personal and fun to plan with each of the families that I work with! And because all of our props and scenes are custom designed, we can come up with anything that we decide to do, mix and match themes, or make past designs better. Whenever a client asks for a theme that I haven’t used in a while, I always try to add a few more items to make it better than before. This family KNEW right away that a Super Mario cake smash was going to be their choice! And thankfully they had some old, adorable Mario character stuffies from the original Nintendo store in NYC that were perfect to add to an already cute theme! This little guy arrived to my Newington, CT photography studio a little unsure in his dashing red plaid button down shirt with bow tie and suspenders. But once we started playing and doing some tickles, it was all smiles from there! After starting with some simple portraits, we moved on to the super Mario set where he loved the gold coins! So much so that we actually needed to move them when it was time for cake to make sure he wasn’t too distracted! But cake time was fun to play and get messy. He loved the super cute design from our friends at Sweets by Jenna who did a great job helping us create something custom to match my set.
